Dream Team Volunteer Opportunities

Do you enjoy serving behind-the-scenes to ensure an exceptional guest experience? Do you have an interest in working on camera, sound, lighting or multimedia? If this sounds like a fit for you, and you have experience in any of these areas or a strong desire to learn, we’d love to talk with you.

If media and the technical aspects of worship service are intriguing to you, serving in our Media department might be a good fit. If you have experience with - or a desire to learn - producing and editing video, ensuring a stellar online worship broadcast, creating strong still and motion graphics for church communications, and managing updates on all digital media platforms.

Did God give you the gift of music? If you have vocal talent and enjoy singing and leading others in worshiping God, we would love to hear from you. If you play an instrument and have a desire to share your gift(s) with others, we would love to have you on the team. Whatever your availability, we are sure to have a fit.

Do you like to guide people in the right direction? Do you enjoy taking small steps to help people relax and feel comfortable? Guiding guests to a seat in a welcoming and efficient manner may be a fit for you. Our ushers ensure guests aren’t walking the aisles in search of a seat and, by doing so, increase their comfort level in getting quickly seated and prepared for service. If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you on the team!

Our children learn God’s Word each and every Sunday and Wednesday. Join our team and help children understand God’s unique love for them. Our teachers follow a professional age appropriate curriculum filled with stories and fun activities to engage our preschooler thru 6th grade classes. We supply everything you need! If you prefer to work with infants, we have a role for you there as well. (BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED)

Do you enjoy the quiet routine of cleaning and the sense of accomplishment of a freshly cleaned room? Or, do you like to help with facilities maintenance (painting, staining) or joining a setup/takedown team for special events? If so, you’re in the right place. If you’re interested in joining our facilities team may be a good fit for you. If you’d like more information, we’d love to hear from you.

If you enjoy serving others through food and fellowship, our food services team may be a great fit for you. Whether you prefer to plan and organize meals, cook, bake or serve food during our many programs and events, your special gifts have a place here! We look forward to hearing from you.

Our greeters are the gateway to our church. The way we welcome, answer questions and guide people entering our church is extremely important and sets the tone for what they can expect when they walk through the doors. If you have a welcoming smile, a positive attitude and an eagerness to help make people feel comfortable and eager to go inside this may be a fit for you.

Our Guest Services team serves a number of important roles before, during and after each Sunday and Midweek. These are the welcoming people at the kiosks greeting people as they enter, answering questions, providing direction and sharing information on upcoming events. They also play a role in welcoming our new visitors and ensuring they receive a welcome gift bag. Our goal is to make sure each and every person feels at home and has the most comfortable and memorable experience possible. If this sounds like a fit, we’d love to have you on the team!

If you enjoy food and fellowship, our hospitality team may be a great fit for you. Talk with our church family and visitors while providing them with Sunday morning donuts, pastries, coffee and juice at our 9:30 am and 11:00 am service. If this sounds interesting to you, we’d love to hear from you.

We have a variety of roles in this area, from parking lot signage setup and removal to parking lot shuttle and van transportation service for our members and visitors. If you enjoy spreading smiles, sharing a positive attitude and making people feel welcome, this may be a great fit for you. These roles are the first point of contact for many of our visitors and it’s a good place to make a great first impression! And, you never know when your smile, wave and warm welcome can change a person’s day! (BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED)

If you have an interest in ensuring the safety of our guests, our children’s church and our grounds, this may be a good fit for you. Ensuring our guests and their children feel safe when they enter our doors is extremely important. Especially in this day and time. If you have experience in security or a desire to learn, this may be a fit for you. (BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED)

We hold many special events throughout the year and each one requires setup, takedown, food preparation and serving, janitorial, decorating, organizing, and a whole lot more. You get the picture! It’s a little bit of everything and requires a whole lot of Dream Team volunteers. If you have an interest in playing a role in special events this could be a fit for you.

Our youth ministry is designed to help middle school and high school students grow their faith, build their character, and strengthen their relationships. This is a place where we believe in the power of worship, prayer, and the Holy Spirit. If you have a passion for helping youth grow in their walk with God and you like to have fun while doing so, this may be a fit for you. We have regularly scheduled worship and fellowship activities, as well as special events throughout the year.
